I started CrossFit in 2013 weighing 110 lbs. I could not lift more than 35 lbs, and my first PR was a 95 lbs deadlift. I was not consistent and not motivated until I went to watch my coach compete in regionals. It was then that my mindset did a 360 turn. Watching all those athletes compete set a goal and motivation for me.
Something had to change though. I had bad eating habits and never realized how important nutrition was to become fit. My coaches and the desire to becoming a Level 1 CrossFit Trainer disciplined me to work on my diet, to make the better choices for both mind and body. As a result, today I am currently aiming for a 300 lbs deadlift goal. I love competing and challenging myself. I am passionate about helping others. I enjoy watching each individual transform and become better.
I joined the Air Force in 2015. When I moved to South Dakota I decided to do my own thing and go to the base gym. My thought was to save some money but it was not the smartest choice, I missed having a CrossFit family.
In April of 2017 I joined Rushmore CrossFit. My goal is to become one of the top 10 fittest females in South Dakota and help others to accomplish their goals!
